The festival is more than catfish dinners (although the catfish fingerlings and filet sandwiches are a good reason to come). There is live music entertainment Friday night and all day Saturday; games for the kids; arts and crafts vendors; and a parade. If catfish is not your thing, we have burgers, hotdogs, chicken fingers, fresh strawberry shortcake, and even frog legs and swamp cabbage!
Just provide some preliminary information and we will contact you as soon as possible.
Begining at noon and running south down Summit Street through downtown and right in front of the festival. Great viewing all along Summit Street!
The course taking you through beautiful neighborhoods and the scenery of Lake Crescent, includes an optional Color Rush along the route where lobbed clouds of colored cornstarch transform runners' outfits from white to rainbow amidst sounds of high energy music.
However, for the more serious runners, registered for the 5K Only, we have race awards for the top male and female finishers (age groups under 15, 16-25, 26-35,36-45, 46-55, 56-65, 66+) and medals for other 5K Only participants.
